I'm not being "high and mighty" with you; I'm just telling you how things work, especially with Ubi. Ubisoft is not going to finance a patch just so those that don't want to buy the add-on can have all the enhancements that the add-on brings. It's been the same way with their IL2 franchise - if people want the new features, they have to buy the add-ons. It saves the developers headaches developing multiple patches and it makes the series more cost-effective in the long run. It's just the way the software development industry works.

LukeFF,

I am truly sorry for the comments I made. I should have expected someone to make the commets that you did for my thread entry, but I was not.

I was just angry and lashed out and unfortunately you where the person I lashed out at. I want to also thank Ragtag for bringing me to my senses.

Thank you Ragtag. You are right - there is not reason to get angry.

I am truly sorry that I made those comments to you LukeFF, and I hope that you will accepted my apology. I also want to apologize to the Neal, the Mods, and all the other members of this community.

It takes a big man to apologize. You've got class, my friend.

I do not trash the man in public. Ducimus has been my friend for quite a long moment, at least I thought he was (our friendship ended the day I put the GWX ban in my signature on here ). And it will never be my intention to trash him in public : my only intention is to say the truth. U-boote missions will be just like a 1.5 patch. So in all honesty, I don't see a reason why TM shouldn't be updated, and I truly believe what I've just said.
I think your Kptl needs to reign you in!!! :rotfl:

Default Is this SH4 add on worth it & is it historical?

Hello all,

Darn, I gotta say I wish a real WWI U-boat sim would come with SH 4 specs!

Since it isn't happening anytime soon, I wanted to know: How historical is this add on? first.

Second, I want to know What's the cost? and What is the baseline "benefit" for me?

It's kind of bizarre to read about U-boats in the Pacifc?
What about Japanese subs and Mini-subs?

Whatever....I do hope that Ubisoft will deeply consider a WWI subsim.
We need it!

No need to thank me. Bad days isn't a phenomena but a sincere apology is

Oooooh, I just found out about this. I'll have to hustle my butt over to EB Games later on and see what the ETA is.

Of course, I'm sure it's already plastered everywhere online...

GoGamer is a rip off. Why are they charging 3X as much as Ubi?
