I've never seen the Yamato run below 14 knots. Cuties could never catch up. Must be an easy set up because it normally takes 8 fish to kill the Yamato.

The most I have ever got when hitting the Yamato was a Light Cruisers with her. One at the Cruiser and nine at the Yamato. Then you have to dive or be killed unless you have like a 5 second reload time.

Try that same mission with these:

A little boring yes but I find its fun to attack the destroyers coming down the slot most of the time for a nice challenge. Also you ever watch the 1st and 2nd naval battles of Guadalcanal? RSRDC really did a good job of getting them right.

I have to admit I've been curious about this for a long time. In the Downloads section, under SH4, under Ships, are playable ships such as PT-109 and the pocket battleship Graf Spee. Just how playable are they? Can you maneuver around, firing torpedoes and firing guns? Taking the Graf Spee on a South Atlantic commerce raiding cruise would be pretty cool. Thanks for any info on this.
