SHO Mod Please....

Is there any possible way to stop the radar from constantly fixing on friendly blips in and around every blasted harbor in the game? It's always knocking out the TC!!! Bad enough that it takes an eternity to get from Pearl to Honshu, even on the highest TC. Turning off the radar doesn't seem to help either.

Any ideas?

You could turn it off. Just make sure you turn it back on after you get away from the base.

Turning it off should help - just make sure you do it from the game's GUI menu and it should stay off.

The only other way to remove the friendly blips would be to remove all friendly units from ports. Radar does not distinguish between friend and foe, in combat or in port, and there's not really any other way to work around that. All it sees is ships as a type of in-game entity, and there isn't really a way to force it to distinguish between them.

I just turn it off when nearing home port.

u will always lag down some near a port, cutting it off works for me and you're so close anyway, it doesn't take long.....u can port pretty far from the docks
