Default [WIP] Seawolf Class SSN

You read right. I am working on my next project; the Seawolf class attack submarine. Expect updates as they come.

Hey guys, somebody skilled enough to join forces with these new developments and work on high fidelity modern 3D control rooms for platforms like this? Maybe the team that was building the engine room for the Uboat? That would be an amazing challenge.

That would be reprograming the game pretty much. It would still be nice.
Remember as much as is stored is "Data" there's also SH4.exe which can't be re-worked. SHIV isn't open source.

It wouldn't be reprogramming the game at all. It would however be remodeling a Control Room.dat file. So it really has nothing to do with the games exe at all. Now the difference between someone making a detailed model of U Boat engine room and a modern Control Room is pictures. Each class of boat is different and governments aren't to fond of pictures of the insides of their submarines. Without an idea of what it looks like you can't really model it.

I have an internal layout schematic of the Los Angeles-class control room. just a top-down "planesman sits here, map table over here" bit. but it's better than nothing.

all hail Tom Clancy

Is this project scrapped, or is there still a chance?

It will only work for vanilla 1.5. By using this mod over a super mod, you replace the career and flotilla files, and you'll start without a crew.

Glad you like it. I'm still surprised this many people are still searching for my old mods. I quit modding two years ago, and started 6 years ago.
