Rotary Wing Test Squadron - they have a couple of Lynx and Gazelles too, one of which is quite unique in that it has only ever been based at Boscome for, well it was 25 years, now if it's still there it will be some 33-ish years.

That trainer version still doesn't sit right with what picture comes to mind as the Hawker Hunter.
Wierd isn't it, I know its a Hunter and it looks just like the earlier model you posted, but it still just doen't click as the plane in the mind.

I think it's the cockpit, something looks different about the rear section of it. Probably because it's a trainer, or it could be because we're used to the single seater versions.

I can only imagine it is because the canopy is slightly wider yet no longer than the single seat variant.

I much prefer the trainer seating arrangement in the Hawk, Jaguar. Tornado etc....one in the front and one behind.
