Default Seaweed...?

As the latest content has just hit, thought I'd have a say. firstly big thanks to Killerfish for all their hard work on this fantastic title....!!! Love the neutrals and aggressive AI.
Secondly how come the seaweed is so big? Bolder fields sure but huge seaweed forests at these latitudes and depths...? Don't know much about Kelp or regular seaweed but I'm sure that any sub driver worth his or her salt would do all they could to stay away from said such..
What does the larger community think....?

Better than before...

I get shot out of a tube, crawl along the bottom through the weeds with my K-bar between my teeth...enemy subs have no chance.
