Ive replaced Skyrims music with Conan the Barbarian music sound tracks playing ingame 15 soundtracks for different areas of the game. ie Files are placed in folders you create = Town, Day, night, dusk, dungeons, taverns and so on, then place the music you want to be played for different areas into appropriate folder. Then create a music folder and place them all in there, & place in skyrims Data folder.
To add yur own music you need something like this. Then away you go. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13286/ This modder has practically done half the job, all you have to do is convert your music to xvm or wave i read xvm is more reliable and rename them to the correct names so skyrim knows when to play them. For me its bloody awesome to listen to Conan music while running round as a axe welding barbarian with the Conan intro theme blaring in the background! Just ups the gameplay for me. Oh and i added in Morrowinds intro theme as well for when trekking in the mountains. I never get sick of Morrowinds intro theme. As for sharing my conan sounds i can't due to copyright nags. Nothing wrong with Skyrims music like always Bethsheda makes sure they have excellent music ingame, with morrowind and oblivion it was a piece of cake to add music, skyrims a bit trickier. Next up if i even get round to it i might create a marksmen in skyim and add LOTR sound tracks Last edited by kiwi_2005; 07-22-12 at 07:27 AM. |

I usually turn the in-game music off, or at least turn the volume to zero.

Does anyone know if the unofficial Skyrim patch is now safe to use with Skyrim patch 1.6.89.

Funniest character i met last night was Roggi Knot-Beard who is a mead drinking nord, he is also a proud man who refuses to take a handout from Iddra to pay the bar debts he owes her, even though he is constantly unable to pay those debts drinking & keeps asking her for free mead. Reminds me of my younger years
Roggie will give you a quest to find his ancestors shield then when done he will become a companion. |

Yeah I was playing Arma and got the flash ad thingie when I exited the game.
Needless to say, soon I was on the store page buying it. Though after much consideration by flipping a coin. (The coin never lies, and it didn't misguide me this time.)

Having cancelled Visa and Paypal, sucks, but I stick to it (did it during the Assange affair when companies started to poodle to the US). And doing cash transfer order requires to give them my full ID dataset, it seems. I am not dumb enough to throw around my data so carelessly just to gie them opportunity to trade them and makew money with them, and me being spammed by companies that before I never have heared of, or my banking account being compromised. I don'T like nor do I need this kind of crap.
So unfortunately I draw the consequence and pass on this one. Tolerating steam for just playing it, is one thing. Giving them my full dataset and banking info, is something different, and definitely beyond the red line. PS3 and other data protection Waterloos of recent months and years, anyone? P.S. I hope I am must not fold over Virtual Pool 4 next week also, for the same reason. They better offer anonymous cash transfer as an option, or they too have lost me. Thankfully I can work around the problem with SBP updates via private direct contact. That is worth pure gold.

Yep, they are horrible people for not just releasing something in a bad state, like most other publishers.

It's also yet to be seen if they've even put in extra effort to get us the DLC on a timely matter. For all we know, instead of putting extra resources and manpower into getting the expansion to us on time, they could've just said "Eh, **** it, they'll get it when they get it and they'll be happy with it." There is also the issue of the fact we never got 1.6, and 1.7 is nowhere in site.

If there was something wrong with it, you would prefer it if they repeated that?
Your 2nd point is unfounded speculation. 1.6 adds new mechanics and might exactly be the reason it is delayed.
