Default Forums for Windows 7

I use this forum for Vista and it is great. Here is the forum for the Windows 7 new users. Thanks for beta testing for me. Then again, I beta tested Windows 7 for you by using Vista

You're welcome for testing, and thank you for putting up with Vista. I hear it had some teething problems.

Yes it did but works ok now. Honestly, I like Vista and do not see any point in rushing out to get 7. I wait until the price drops.

The tech on this forum is excellent. The Vista64 forum was a huge help for me in tweeks and such.

Right you are, that entry fee is not something I'm looking forward to.

Coming from XP, it's an improvement (except audio support; need Alchemy). Coming from Vista, it's a minor upgrade; not that different imho.

Yep, have to agree. The best way is to grab a new hard drive, as if another one would hurt (as long as there is enough room to put one in the case), then snag an O.E.M. of Windows 7. My uncle wants me to build his new rig, and that is what we will do for his new one.

fyi, I have installed SH3 ( vanilla) and SH4 ( vanilla) on Windows 7 64bit machine, and in both games you get the intro, then a black screen with sound. So far I have not found a solution. I am going to put GWX on SH3 at some time to see if that might fix the problem but I am not optimistic

I have gone to the Windows Seven forum you recommended WarHawk, and am watching their compatibility list updates for games. No solutions yet, but early days so I am hopeful that it will get sorted in time

I switched SH4 to Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode and it runs great on my Win 7 64bit.
