I thought I was clear: I knew the rowers were animated, I just didn't know that the raft itself actually went somewhere, just like any other boat.

I thought I was clear: I knew the rowers were animated, I just didn't know that the raft itself actually went somewhere, just like any other boat.

Iambcomelife has an add-on in the works that adds the life boats.

Thunder and I have an animation or two to add at a later date.
With other features.


I fully expect to see other add-ons down the road.
By many people.

I have a question and a request.

Question: I see there are two files 'LifeBoat1_crew' and 'LifeBoat2_crew'. Are there supposed to be two different versions that appear? So far I've only seen one.

Request: Since I can't 'unmix' a sound file into its separate components, I'd like to ask if it would be possible to make a file with the voices louder and the splashing quieter. I would think you would hear the one from a distance and the other only from the raft itself.

If you'll excuse me now, I have nits to pick elsewhere.

Yes it can be done.
It invloves working with the dsd files and the SH3.sdl file.

As I recall, S3D can work with the sdl and dsd files.
Now get busy!!

It's getting close.
With all the Real life stuff, GWX stuff, New grand baby on the way,
etc, etc.......
Sometimes it's a true strain!!

And Summer time is my Rideing time!!


I shut down my on the road business to ride for a couple years.
And ride I do!!
My pickup sat for 2 months!!
Rain or shine?
No problem!!
I do over 500 miles each weekend.
And ride to jobsites all week.
On the way home?
If a road looks interesting?
I take it just cause I can.
Sometimes it takes me an hour to get to work,
and 3 hours to get home.
That cuts into what I do here abouts.
But bad weather fast approaches.
Winter is when I do my best work.
And what work I have done is nearly ready.
Just have to have some bad weather!!

I have a question...

They just tend to spawn a bit weird at times.
Personally?
I don't use the optional part and am quite happy with current results.
I also know that any adjustments to the NTRW totally
screws it up!
I spent alot of time getting it to represent a ship of it's size movements
correct.
To just change it's features cause you can?
I do not agree.
