XI-B type U-BOAT

Does anyone have some info on this mysterious uboot?
u-112 was 115 meters long and was sunk near the US coast.
Some soort of secret sub.

I have found following info in the spanish web U-historia

U-112
Type: XI (U-Cruiser)
Ordered: 17-1-1939
nº of order: 977
Works: AG Weser, Bremen

Project suspended 15-9-1939 and cancelled in May 1940

U-112 to U-115 were big transport U-Boats, none of them were completed. At the tiome of cancelling the orders, U-112 was the most advanced yet not finished.

Choose "Técnica" in the upper blue band, then "Proyectos" and finally "Tipo XI"
