Back after a few years. Found the SH5 DVD in a closet I was cleaning and decided to give it another go. I remember the game being crap and nothing like SH3 GWX I was addicted to.
Installed it, my UPlay account was still active, with the last save being in March of 2011. LoL. So I got the game up and running, ran stock for a few minutes to make sure it ran. Closed the game, and made my way to Subsim, first visit back in a few years! Installed some very good mods, and enjoying this game as it should have been released back in 2010. Also playing on a very updated computer so I have all the graphic options set to its highest, and with vertical sync on, I am getting a rock solid 60 fps. This game, for being 6 years old, looks really good. IMO. Anyway, thanks to all the modders who contribute to this game, SH5 and previous. Looking forward to diving deep into this sim this winter! |
