Another Chazley question..
Hey Chazley, as a frequent stalker of yours on Youtube and knowing you learned to speak Russian, I have a theory I wanted to test out..
Suppose you wanted to translate "Man Battle Stations!" into Russian and then translate it back into English. Would it come back as "Reinforce Alert!"? Its just a hunch.. |

You will have to wait for Chazly to answer but I think not. The Russian Navy version of Battle stations I believe is Combat Alert, in Russian it is Боевая тревога.
For them to say reinforce alert would not make sense.

Don't take me so seriously, I don't.
This is an "all hands swim" topic. |
