Well some are available. The campaign start date is 1939-08-31 and the emblems show a start date of 1939-09-01, so they are available after coming back from first patrol. At least I hope so.

I really hope so. I would hate to loose that mod too. I already miss my Sub Flag mod.

I don't use the longer repair times mod. It's something to keep in mind if I ever use it.

I can scroll down to see them, but they appear blank with X instead of picture. Their descriptions are there.

Your issue is not caused by OHII and it is not date-related either: emblems which are not yet available by date shouldn't appear at all in the upgrades selection menu.

Emblems settings are found in two files. UpgradePacks.upc contains all is needed for making the emblems displayable in the upgrades interface (upgrade ID, name displayed in game, notes, availability dates, etc.), and Equipment.upc is used for setting some emblem properties, including the dds files connected with each emblem. From your description, it seems you forgot to update the latter file. When doing it, make sure to match upgrade ID's with the corresponding ones in UpgradePacks.upc, and to use a progressive numbering for Equipment/UpgradePack definitions (the headers between square brackets).

If thats the case, I found problem with Equip_Upgrades_Fix_1_4_Patch_1_AFFOE_151 that comes with the equipment mod. The IDnumber with Equipment.upc doesn't match that of UpgradePacks.upc

I see R.S.D changes the equipment.upc too. AFFOE needs to be reworked from another angle. Since there is two mods doing in it, i might just start at AFFOE and make the changes to the mod and add it last after those mods.

So much work!

I will upload two versions for you guys when I get done, one for just Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V9 by sober
and one for both Sobers and R.S.D

All you need to do is copying/pasting AFFOE's entries, and adjusting their sorting numbers so that no numbers are missing/duplicated, and that they are sorted in ascending order.

Yeah I know what you are taking about, but it seems the Equip_Upgrades_Fix_1_4_Patch_1_AFFOE_151 in the Equipment mod download aren't matching with same files in the download. I just downloaded a fresh copy to check. Those two files in Equip_Upgrades_Fix_1_4_Patch_1_AFFOE_151 don't match up. I didn't see it at firsts in WinMerge. You have to open each one in notepad, thats when I saw it.

The Equipment.upc counts from 30 when the correct one start at 6. The 6 works also, because last one is stock game is named EqpEmblem5. So EqpEmblem6 is correct and not EqpEmblem31. There will be 30 emblems missing, that most of us haven't seen in a while.

Those two files in download that are suppose to be compatible with AFFOE, actually removes 30 of the emblems.

So I think the Equip_Upgrades_Fix_1_4_Patch_1_AFFOE_151 fix will allow those missing emblems to show up.

My problem was that R.S.D. broke mine, even though I made a sober capability one.

I made compatibly for both mods, I just need to fix the Equipment mod one.

Alright I got everything squared away with AFFOE mod. I made it compatible with two current popular mods. I haven't tested them, but they should work. Let me know if they work.

I renamed the folders so it wont get confusing on which ones to use and which ones you have.

They are all compatible with Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1_HotFix

There are 3 folders to pick from. In each is the AFFOE mods with optional weathered ones.

Just choose the one that matches the mods you have installed. Right now they are if you using:

Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V9 by sober

R.S.D. - Reworked Submarine Damage v5.5 by vdr1981

Or Both.

I ended up doing a seperate one for Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V9 by sober
just in case someone isn't using that mod. Personally I think it should be a no brainer addition.


The most common options to choose from are:

1). AFFOE_v1.51_EUF(available by date) V9 by sober

Or

2). AFFOE_v1.51_R.S.D.&EUF(available by date) V9 by sober

Be aware that if you are using the latest OH mod then the first campaign starts before the war starts . So some items like these extra emblems wont be available while at Memel base . They will be available from Kiel base onwards . cheers .

Thanks for working on this raven 2012.
Something else bugged me about upgrade pack equipment dates. I can not dedicate any time for it.

According to the picture by the beast in the original mod TheBeast - Equipment_Upgrades_Fix, availability dates of alberich impoved, tarnmattte, tarnmattte improved are showing up earlier than expected in a campaign.

Sober fixed a lot in Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V9 mod, but do others see dates still wrong for the sound coatings, like I do?
My related mod order just for equipment:
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_main mod
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1_& then HotFix
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V9 mod.

Would you have time to fix this if there is no mistake on my part?
