Yeah I guess you're right.
The moderators will have a lot of work on their hands merging all the threads into one.

Hey Guys great news, that you have SH5, even better news that it seems you are already playing. However Can you just confirm one thing for me. The steering, In all the other games, we have had the compass to allow us close control of the direction of the sub. I know Neal stated that you could only steer using the map on is version. I am holding on to the thought though, that the steering control Neal had was only becasue it was a beta version. Please please tell us what the steering controls are like in the new version. Im sure Im not the anly one who used the steering controls all the time. I hate the thought of being stuck with a map to chose direction.

-There is no compass in the hud
-The right and left arrow keys when pressed show a course direction of 1 degree starboard/port, does nothing really
- I cant see my heading unless i look at the ships dials (more releastic but a real pita)
-Its hard to steer, yes ;[

Try SHIFT Leftarrow and SHIFT Rightarrow, and use the keypad 0 key to shift the rudder amidships.

Thanks for the quick Answer, mmmm thats sounds like what I was worried about, though im guessing, if you keep pressing arrows, that it moves 1 degree each time, and if you press SHift Arrow, like Neal stated, then thats hard s/board / Port then 0 to amidships.

Thanks again for the quick answer, Fingers crossed that this can be modded, Not bothered bout looking at dial for heading, But would like to state steer 213 or 310 like before using a compass dial.

You enjoy SH5, and keep brining us good news

@ddrgn
could you post a few lines on how the file structure of the installation looks like, is it similar to SH4?
