Yep. We were using it for SH3 five years before SH5 was released. The 'G' stands for 'Generic'. It wasn't made for Silent Hunter at all.

It has nothing to do with games or mods at all.

Hey guys, thanks for the hard work in making this game playable.
I would like to report that the link to JSGME 2.5 provided in the 1st page of this topic is a dead link. Can we use the v2.6 instead? cheers |

Not trying to offend anyone but should this topic not be unsticky'd?
It's a 2 year old topic with dead links, and its the old version of JSGME, lots of people are misguided by the title, i was gone for a while and fell for it like a fly falls for sh.., well you know what a fly likes. Maybe just a topic with the link to 2.6? Or just post 67 and close it? What ever happened to this mod and it's creator? |

JSGME update
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...p?do=cat&id=74
Now the JSGME pdf file is added to a downloads utility section has a separate download. The other JSGME download package has the pdf file with it now. Thanks Sailor Steve and Neal Stevens for the help. |

JSGME Installation for Dummy's! (Help:( )
Forgive me, but I am not a PC guru. I don't understand the lingo to install this mods program and let alone run it. The instructions are beyond my level of PC expertise.
********************************* ==1. CENTRAL INSTALLATION== You can install the JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME) to a central location and point it to each of your games through creating shortcuts. To do this:
==2. SEPARATE INSTALLATION== If you prefer, you can install separate copies of JSGME into each of your games. To do this, simply install JSGME to the base folder of the game that you would like to mod. The base folder usually contains the game’s main executable file and usually has a name unique to the game. If in doubt, consult the game’s online community. If you keep the “Create a desktop icon” option selected, the installer will add a uniquely named shortcut to your desktop. ************* NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE TO ME!!!! I intend to utilize this for my SH5, and I have the current version! Dankeschon alle! |
