Yep, leaving money to your heirs is a real crime. Truly it's something to be ashamed of and derided. If you've managed to save something over the years you must have done something shady. JEALOUS : hostile toward a rival or one believed to enjoy an advantage : ENVIOUS

His success made his old friends jealous.

They were jealous of his success.

JEALOUS AND ENVY it seems are somewhat interchangeable both are used to define a certain feeling when you see something another has and you don't. Jealousy however seems to indicate a more hostile feeling than simply being envious.

Being jealous of something when its already in your possession doesn't make any sense. If its already something "what you have" in your possession I suppose one could either be content or discontented with it. But jealous of it or another?

Jealousy is also a personal matter. Two people can have different feelings towards what another has. I could be jealous of another's success whereas Bilge Rat might be envious bordering on not giving a flip about it.

So for 65 years we've had either politicians or generals as president, and we haven't been able to put an end to the Korean War. A businessman gets elected and it looks like it might end within the first two years of his presidency. Guess it's time for the swamp to get involved.
