SHO Appeal to the whole community Subsim

I open this discussion to appeal to all the experts here on Subsim several years created with great care and experience of the

excellent graphic versions of warships to the surface. (SH III / SH4 / SH5 MOD)

I want to stress to all of you one thing.

In 2002, Ubisoft launched "Destroyer Command" as a naval simulator.

Personally, I think it would be a good initiative on the part of Ubisoft launching a new product for the simulation of surface vessels

after four games dedicated entirely to underwater simulation (all very well managed as far as I'm concerned)

A new twist inspired by the canons of Silent Hunter (4 or 5) and Destroyer

that would give the player the ability to choose the combat zone (Atlantic Ocean - Mediterranean)

to choose the combat unit (battleship - cruiser - destroyer)

and to manage the tactical strategy (as a single unit or in conjunction with a squadron created by him),

of course (as for SH5) with a real historical period (1939-45 for the navies of Britain and Germany or 40-43 for the Royal Italian Navy)

and historical missions (Battle of Cape Teulada - Alexandria - The Hunt Bismarck - the Battle of Taranto etc ..).

Well my idea is a very extensive

but knowing the enormous capacity and skills of all of you, I hope (I hope) that does not remain just a fantasy

And I know well that it is not the only one and wait for a project like this if it were possible to achieve.

I'll start from the page of SH III and I hope to put in cominucation.

Sorry, UBI couldn't even finish SH5... You'll be lucky with your 'requests'

Well done to my request for Ubisoft is simply a gamble.

I am referring mainly to all designers Subsim group that have shown a lot of experience over the years with many MOD products .

So who knows maybe (as written before ) the union would be born a great mod for surface ships as I described ( ships already built with good results in a single SH4 ) . We try , as well as a single unit to command the fleet

I doubt Ubisoft would take it on sadly they can barely manage / release their own mainline key franchise titles at the moment let alone take on a niche of a niche simulator title. Better perhaps to think of the independent developers such as Triassic Games (Sea Power / Silent Depth 2) and Drydock Dreams (Task Force Admiral) both of whom are developing their games to be published by the reborn Microprose company or perhaps Iron Wolf Studios developers of Destroyer the U-Boat Hunter or DeepWater Studio developers of U-Boat.

Question. Do you really think Ubi and its employees frequent this forum?

Though the ideas are interesting they are not viable economically atm. There are now several destroyer games hitting the market.

Best,

Ashi.
