Whilst it's not yet mathematically certain Markus, I am becoming increasingly confident that the TOON will not be relegated.

This comment is more about being a fan and a discussion I had with my nephew

Many years ago my nephew asked me if I was a fan of any team

I said yes I have a team in England, Newcastle I follow and a ice hockey team in Sweden, Roegle(Rögle) who I also follow.

Are you a big fan of these teams

Had to admit I wasn't married to these two teams, it is more a friendly relationship I have with these two teams.

Well then you aren't a real fan. A fan is married with their teams they follow.
I'm married to my Ice hockey team(Luleå) and Barcelona(Barca) too, he said to me.

We jump ahead about a year
I was visiting him and his girlfriend
I asked my nephew if he was planning on taking a trip to Malmo
Here is replied - Why
Because you team Luleå is playing
Who wants to see these losers playing

Said to him

So you dropped you team og divorced from them because they are almost last in this years series.

And you said , that I wasn't a real fan, maybe you are right.
I have since the end of the 80's, been following Newcastle and they are my team and will be so, whether they win the league or drop all the way down to league 2 or 3.

Former England and Chelsea midfielder Ray Wilkins has died in hospital at the age of 61, the London club have announced.

Wilkins, who also played for Manchester United, AC Milan, Rangers and QPR, was being treated at St George's Hospital in London following a cardiac arrest.

A Chelsea statement said the club are "devastated to learn of the passing of our former player, captain and assistant coach".

TOON won 2-1 at Leicester and climb to the dizzy heights of tenth place which should mean Premiership survival.

The Rafalution goes on

Yeah, I would have settled for a draw before the game as well.

Checked my sport channel for this Sunday 15 April.

So here are my plan for the Sunday afternoon.

Buy a fresh made cake at the local bakery(can see the bakery from my living room)

Make coffee.
Take coffee and cake to the living room, turn on TV, change channel to this sport channel.
Make everything ready for the game.

Then enjoy TOON against The Gunners.

Have the feeling the TOON will take the three points against The Gunners.

Then on the other hands my feelings when it comes to predict sport result is bad, very bad.
So let say I hope they will take 3 points against Arsenal.

I'd settle for a draw but now that safety is almost assured I'd like to see us have a real go at them right from the start as was the case recently against Man Utd.

I am the first to admit that Arsenal's recent decline has become downright shocking this season, but we have won 6 in a row now with only one of those being less that a 2 goal margin. For the first time in a while there is a bit of confidence in team. Should make for a good match on Saturday!

Arsenal also has CSKA Moscow on Thurs, but with a 4 - 1 in the first leg Wenger will probably mix things up quite a bit. I never underestimate his willingness to play a team of inexperienced teenagers in a must win cup match.

Mackems are at home to Norwich and a draw simply won't be enough, they need to start winning games but failure to do so could see them relegated after the next two games.

How things can change

Each week one of my sport channel has a weekly goal show from England where they show all the goal from Premier League to League 2.

Some weeks ago I saw the entire show and when they showed goals that have been scored throughout the week who have passed from League 2
I got a sort of Deja Vu
They showed a match between Notts County

Man I remember that team from the 70's and 80's playing in the topdivision and having seen them playing against Liverpool, Arsenal and other team in the top.

It also show us how fast it can go-
One year or a decade your team is at the top.
the next year or a decade later, your team is on its way down way, down through the divisions ending in League 1 or 2.
