The Air Force, in designing fighter aircraft canopies, had a machine that would simulate bird strikes. They simulated it by shooting chickens at high speed at the test canopies. At one time, the wing commander of that test squadron was.. wait for it.. Col Sanders. Granted he was many levels above the testing office, but it is an almost interesting coincidence.

I think it gets alot of criticism but i kinda like it. Reminds me of a bigger, badder ironclad. Still cant beat the beauty of an Iowa though.

he told me last month unless he gets promoted he will be forced out of the navy 30 year thing I guess.
