That is one ugly ship, only a defense contractor could love it.

Could be they are going back to the tried and tested origins...run out of offensive weapons then revert to ramming.

Some oars and it could meet a "green" mandate, and also serve as a path to citizenship.

I'm sure it can, if you poke enough holes in it.

I sure hope only by design and not due to battle damage

Especially, since it appears he was born in 1967/68 which was right in the middle of when the TOS ran.

The Air Force, in designing fighter aircraft canopies, had a machine that would simulate bird strikes. They simulated it by shooting chickens at high speed at the test canopies. At one time, the wing commander of that test squadron was.. wait for it.. Col Sanders. Granted he was many levels above the testing office, but it is an almost interesting coincidence.

Interesting.
General Leslie R. Groves was head of the Manhatten Project.
I want to rule the World! Coincidence?

Capt. James Kirk is commanding why would you doubt he could not pull it off?
Of course he'd need to go back in time, grab Lt. Cmd Spock (Yes the baby book Dude)
Scotty would be needed also. Since he served in WWII at the same time roughly?
Piece of cake!!

I think it gets alot of criticism but i kinda like it. Reminds me of a bigger, badder ironclad. Still cant beat the beauty of an Iowa though.

I must admit I was thinking the same thing when I looked at it...a sort of 21st century Virginia.
