I have tried Frapps and the record quality is not vary good and then I tried hypercam and it would not record my game so not sure if it is any good.
So which program is good at recording our games and has nice play back.
Also video thread is a good idea ;-)

I use Fraps to record and Ulead Video Editor to put the vids together.

In my opinion, FRAPS(full version) is the better way to capture in game, just make the right setup depending your screen resolution in game: for 1024x768 use 35 fps and "full size" recording.
But the bad quality outgoing in the final release comes everytime from the encodage of your work.

More possibilities to well encode in Vegas 9.0 by Sony.
Try it is a must.
For exemple you can choose all details for your encodage.

(if you read french, watch here to have a little idea of what can do this software)
