Download Problem?
I've been trying to download the career playable battleships for three days and inevitably get some variation of:
vBulletin Notice Slow Down! You are trying to download files too quickly. You must wait 23 seconds before you may download another file. The thing is, it comes up when I haven't downloaded anything, every time. Sometimes the number of seconds changes, but otherwise it's always the same. I e-mailed the site a few days ago, still no response. Any suggestions? Thanks! Rick |

It partly depends on how many posts you have. This is to prevent people from downloading everything in site and not trying to be part of the community.

Yeah, that part I knew. After one post you can download two items after three you can download ten and so on.
But I can't download anything. Unless they changed the posts/downloads numbers and I didn't see the notice, I don't think that's it. Rick |

Just looked up the e-mail I received after registering and this is what it says:
"As a new Cadet, you are able to post freely and download up to 3 files a day. Once you have made a single post, you are able to download 10 files a day." Still, I get the vBulletin Notice. I wish the admins would check their e-mail and help me out on this one. I'd like to try those battleships. Rick |

contact Neal Stevens
send an email to Neal Stevens. He is the Captain of all the Captains. Years ago I was getting duplicate messages advising that a captain had posted in a thread to which I had subscribed. I messaged Neal, and it got fixed. He may be able to fix your problem.
