Default WAC ships displacement values

Hello,
I'm glad that this mod was finally released. It's visual quality and features never seen before made me back to SH3 after few years break and I doubt if there will be any better mod than this. However...
I never played previous WAC versions so I'm little confused about in-game ship displacements in this mod. In my current campaign I torpedoed HMS Renown during Weserubung operation. In my log she was rated as ~48000 tons and I belive this is over estimated. Later, I went to the museum to look at all ships and I found "Large Fast Merchant" rated at 17600 GRT - but she didn't look like. I started diging...
I made mission with few ships close to each other to compare their dimmensions. I assumed that HMS Renown model exported from SH5 by Rowi58 is correct and her dimmensions are close to real one. Then I compared this dimensions to other ships:

To estimate tonnage I used formula by U.S. Coast Guard, which was implemented in one of addon charts in SH5. Some of the values I used are my estimation and error is more that sure. However, it's clearly, in comparsion to ship like T2 tanker, which is pretty close to real, that the model of "Large Fast Merchant" is way to small to be a... large merchant, and 17600 GRT tonnage is ridiculus. On the oposite side there is T3 tanker model, which is I belive SH5 export, and that ships is way to long and to wide compared to real, but it looks like close to 20000 GRT ship in game compared to others and also in game she is rated as 18300 GRT.

I think I'm going to edit the values of ships displacement for my purposes. Question is how current values have been calculated? Because in some cases they are way to big I think.
