Bear in mind the screenshots are captured in bmp format which is a much larger file size than jpeg format.

I would consider getting a screen capture programme, there are some free ones out there, I personally use fraps but that is not free.

A screen capture programme allows you to choose where the pictures are to be stored and in what format.

After a long dry spell I decided to dive and listen for contacts. I really didn't expect to find any....

Im assuming that for most people it looks much better in game? because some of these screens dont seem to do the game justice eye candy wise. Not in offense to any one who is barely running it on their system because of barely meeting minimum requirements lol It could also be that some are F-ing huge in size too (pictures) but some others do do this game justice. I cant wait to get a sweet rig to run this game now! I may have to start with SH3 and 4 first though until a Graphics and possibly a CPU upgrade.

Out of fairness I wasn't going to say anything until I could actually play the game, but that lovely string of shots by Abd Von Mumit forced it out of me. I have two complaints about the foam, and it shows up in every screenshot, no matter what system it was taken on.

1. The bubbles are awfully big. I could be wrong, but I don't remember ever seeing bubbles that big.

2. The foam is much darker than the bow wave. It should be the same color, and the bright white of the bow wave is correct, not the darker foam.

Little things, I know, but they jump out at me every time.

Upload to http://imageshack.us/ or similar one (use a free one, imageshack is free and you dont have to register If you don´t want), then use the link provided by that web to post it here using the "insert image" button. In case of using the one I suggested use the "direct link"
Hope it helps

Well im just saying I think because of the size of the pictures being huge most of the time it stretches them and pixelates them. so in essence not doing the game justice. like some one a few pages earlier stated, alot of the pics of SH5 here are on the lowest graphic settings, there are a few Ive seen that make me cry and reminisce of Das Boot, Just kidding about the crying but the Das Boot thing is real lol

Unfortunately I feel just the opposite. I love Das Boot but the exterior shots are so obviously models it drives me crazy sometimes. In the scenes of the boat running on the surface the foam is very much out of scale to what it looks like coming from a real 800-ton ship.

It could use modern CG technology.
