I have a question about batteries and the upgrades you can get for your boat. As far as I remember the changes from stock was already made in GWX 1.3 or maybe even TGW. Anyway, the energy values in basic.cfg has been altered (lowered) and my question is why this was made? I'm guessing it has something to do with realism and you might be right. But after looking at http://uboat.net/technical/batteries.htm I got a little confused.

If anything it seems like the stock values were pretty accurate or a bit on the low side, especially for the type IX.

Now it IS entirely possible that there are other factors to consider like different battery voltage (seems unlikely though) or something else.

Its a pleasure to help! And to me its one of the perks of the signature so to speak. I get a lot of personal satisfaction coming and giving people a bit of a hand with what they need. No matter how big or small.

Was a pleasure sir. And by the way the campaign file I uploaded to you was the standard GWX campaign SCR, for the atlantic and mediterannean, if you need the Black and Indian ocean campaign SCR as well... just shout!

Hi Guys. Been awhile since I last posted but still follow the forums. Just made a small donation to subsim and am now downloading the GWX 2.0 mod. Love SH3 and outstanding mods like this make it as good as it can be. Well done, Bravo Zulu, and thanks GWX team for all the work!

Hello.
Are mast values for some ships false on purpose in GWX?
Medium tanker mast is 37 and it should be around 27.

I do use OLC gui but I am pretty sure mast value for this ship should be 27.
Note that OLC GUI is working fine for other ships.

The point is that doubling the mast height is done for all ships in that mod. But doubling this ships mast height will lead to errors. Therefore, the mast height must be wrong from the beginning so this error exists in GWX with or without OLC GUI.

No worries. Will look into it. If the medium tanker mast-height is incorrect/off a bit in GWX we will fix it for 2.1. Tis an easy bit.

Recurring Problems with GWX

Hello people its me again - still with probs. My game did load up once and now it does crash to desk top with a microsoft error. The naval acedmy loads up great and I complete it but like I said when I try to load either single missions or campaign it stops at lkie you said 90% then after waiting for a while like you said it now crashes. This is so frustrating - anyone help me over come this. My comp is to spec for the game and I install it the way everyone discribe but.........no game play yet.

No not Wallsend mate...............near the airport.
