Not sure if I live in the land of the blind but now I have 2 pairs and 2 more things to misplace, sit on, forget to bring with me and so on. I¨'m not just abscent minded, my mind goes AWOL on me.

I went down that route (one pair for reading and another pair for vdu and yet another pair for distance) initially but I am now settled on varifocals (all three in one), they took a little getting used to but I soon grew accustomed to them.

I believe getting a decent frame straight from the off goes a long way toward contentment (my current choice being a design by Hugo Boss).

I believe mine were designed by the master El Cheapo which is alright seeing the workshop can be a bit rough on fancier ones. Good though, to be able to read the frame number on the bike or the user manual for whatever part they're buying without having to tell the customers "it's a secret, I can't tell you".
