Pro-Brexit campaign group Leave.EU and an insurance company owned by its founder Arron Banks face total fines of £135,000 over breaches of data laws.

It follows an Information Commissioner investigation into the misuse of personal data by political campaigns.

The report says more than a million emails sent to Leave.EU subscribers contained marketing for the Eldon Insurance firm's GoSkippy services.

Mr Banks defended himself on Twitter after the report's release.

Environment Secretary Michael Gove wants cabinet ministers to see the full details of the so-called "backstop" that would prevent a hard border.

And Northern Ireland's DUP - which supports the government in key votes - wants it released in full.

Mr Cameron is reported to have delayed the publication of his book until the UK's departure from the EU in March next year, in order to prevent it distracting from the Brexit process.

David Davis: MPs will 'probably' vote against Brexit deal


Theresa May will probably lose a Commons vote on her Brexit deal, former Brexit Secretary David Davis has said.

But Mr Davis - who quit his cabinet role over the Brexit plan in July - said he believed defeat would prompt the UK and EU to agree a "better deal".

He also said the UK had hundreds of plans ready in case the country leaves the EU without any agreed Brexit deal.

That's true, only the other day I was reading about catfish bringing in naked conga twice a week. Not to sure how that is going to help.

This idea is probably at the niveau of Davis' "hundreds of plans"

I take it that whatever decision there will not be much changes to the south of England. After all that is all that matters..
