If the dvd is an option for you then do not waste your time with ‘Steam’ see my Post #13.

The dvd ‘Custom Installation’ allows you to select ‘German Voices’ that will do away with the JSGME mod.

The big thing of course is TDW’s Generic File Patcher. It not just the bugs and glitches it fixes it also opens up the game in many other ways.

1. Broken Resupply System Fixed.

2. Hydrophone Broken Fix.

3. Hydrophone Background Noise Fixed.

4. No Crew Spotting When Submerged Fixed.

5. TDC and AOB, Speed Dials Fixed.

6. Broken Stadimeter Fixed.

7. Broken Torpedo Magnetic Detonators Fixed.

8. AI Crew Damage Control.

9. Units Have To Use Radio To Contact Other Units.

10. Sub On The Bottom Fix.

11. 20 Torpedo Patches.

You will be able to have your ‘Decks Awash’ and lower your profile by using the patch in the GFP and a change in TDW’s Options File Editor Viewer.

The GFP is a stand-alone and is not difficult to install. See my Post #2.

There are things you need to do once the installation has completed.
