If your going to go for a from scatch install you should delete the files in the games my documents folders. In the past those for me have caused bugs to re-occur when they have been patched out an update (game or mod).

That of course include save games, im not sure if the save games have any dependence on other files in those folders so....not sure if you can 'port those over to a new install without issue.

To balance the books so to speak, I think webbys selected sound mod is brilliant. I put it in manually and its so much better than the standards.
