Silent hunter 5 mod reccomendations?
Greetings all, after a long stay on silent hunter 3.(and lots of compatibility issues from it being so old)
I started looking around, and I've heard some folks saying that silent hunter 5 is a more realistic , and updated experience, albeit an extremely glitchy buggy one. With recommendations that it might actually be better than silent hunter 3 once modded. So this is a general question, is silent hunter 5 better once modded? And if so what mods do I need/want? If the game is a buggy mess even after mods, I think I'll pass and just stick to 3 though |

Get the wolves of steel! It's the mega mod you need. It fixes the game and adds tons of minor mods to give a great experience. I have never played SH5 vanilla. It's too ridiculously bugged and broken.

Seconded, I went straight from SH3 GWX to SH5 TWOS. Skip Vanilla. Modded is great. Better than SH3? Probably... but different. More "hands on" realistic.

I have recently reinstalled SH5 as well. TWOS is a great all-in-one package. If you want to install only mods that you want, flavor-to-taste, I recommend looking at Sjizzle's mod list and then pick and choose what you want/need. I kinda lean toward the MagUI now so I chose that route. Mega mods are a great option but sometimes you might get a game change that you may not want. Just something to keep in mind.
