Default CaptainCox mods...Where?

Hi dear skippers:

I'm searching the collection of CaptainCox mods. The links in the dedicated thread are all dead. Is there some oldie member of SUBSIM having these mods?

Many thanks in advance.

Get in touch with Webster. He had an old mod I was searching for (don't remember if it was from Cpt. Cox). He has a fairly substantial collection of mods saved, and may have what you're looking for

everything I had I uploaded in the subsim downloads section

a quick search for "captain cox" in the downloads search will find about ten of his mods there but as im sure you know these are old mods and some may not work correctly with the newer game versions. luckily texture mods don't have these issues and most of his work is texture related

I do have an archive of old SH4 files on a HD I saved that go back to before v1.2. Which specific names are you looking for?

I have to 'hotwire' that HD to this computer to get access to them... unplug the DVD and use that data port and power wire....

Should make an old-school USB external HD with that drive if I was smart.... lol

Happy Hunting!

I´m searching specially the Captain Cox Silent Service Mod. In the download section of the Forums there are some Cpt. Cox mods (I localized they thanks to Webster´s help), but the "super graphic mod" by Capt. Cox ("Silent Service"), seems lost. If you have it, please post the links or request the moderators for include it in the download section!

Many thanks for your kindly help and best regards.

Sorry, I don't.

Hopefully ReallyDedPoet has it. (saw the post up there).

Skimming the Subsim archives, and the Readme's I have, Captain Cox was talking and learning with other members - maybe one of them may have it. It might be worth a PM or two to try and track a copy down.

Good luck, lets hope ReallyDedPoet has it....

SILENT SERVICE GRAPHICS MOD 1.2c for SH4
Made By CAPTAIN COX

NEW! Intro film
Due to Resolution and compression some people could not
play the original Intro film for the SSGM 1.2
I have used a different copression this time and all should be ok.

Credit to "l3th4l" for all the Adobe Premiere Tips and Trix +
Art Directing! And for testing!

Was a bit fed up with the old one.

This Mod will replace all Films, Loading Screens, Mission Screens and more.

Trying to make the atmosphere as immersive as possible with historic material.

Same concept as 1.1 but with new "Intro Film", "New Main Load Screen",
"15 New Level Load Screens (Main Battles of the Pacific)" and "New Menu Background Movie with New Slideshow)

For those who never checked out 1.1
"New End Career Screens", "New Campaign Screens" etc etc.

Main source:
http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/04idx.htm

Kudos to "l3th4l" for the hint about the res!

Install:

Simply use with JSGME
If you don't have it get it here:

Downloaded this as well. Little different than the one I have.

I have asked Neal if I can upload this here.
