And according to uboat.net, Robert E. Lee was an passenger ship which U-166
torpedoed.

Oh yeah and it was sunk by the US Navy escort vessel PC 566. To be fair they did get the location, Gulf of Mexico (big area to guess) and the depth right. So 1 1/2 out of 5 for accuracy, should work for military intelligence
