Default [REL] Radio Paris -- Update 18-03-2010!!

18-03-2010 Update

Hi there,

I've updated Radio Paris. There are 2 downloads waiting for you

1) An update with 52 new songs 1928-1945 for people who already have
Radio Paris French Music Vol I

Instructions on how to:

a) To be on the safe side: disable the radio mod with JSGME
b) Download the file and unzip it.
c) copy/paste the mp3 files into ~\data\radio\sound\paris folder
d) enable the mod with JSGME

The link with the update --> http://www.filefront.com/15862447/Ra...-Update-1.zip/

2) A new and full version of Radio Paris named: Radio Paris French Music Full Version 1.2 (this includes the old version + the update in an all in one folder).

Instructions on how to (also to be found in the Radio Paris Readme!.txt):

This radio mod is JSGME Friendly.

IMPORTANT!!!!

--- Before you unzip and install please add the following lines to your radio cfg file to be found in the ~data\sound\radio map. (don't forget to make a backup before you add or change things)

[CHANNEL]
Name=Paris
Folder=Paris
Freq=33
Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000
;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 0.01 to 1
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.4

1) make sure that your frequencies are in the correct order (lowest first, highest last)

--- To install please unzip the file to the JSGME mods directory and use JSGME to install this mod
1) JSGME will install the mp3 files in the ~data\sound\radio\Paris map
2) All mp3 filenames start with the year in which the song was recorded. So for example the people who do not want to hear songs recorded in 1943 while they are still playing in 1942, just cut/paste the 1943 and later recording dates to a temp folder and you can copy them back when you survive 1942 and get into 1943

The link with the full version --> http://www.filefront.com/15862393/Ra...rsion-1.2.zip/

have fun, good hunting and happy listening!

Z.

Default Merci

Thanks very much for this. One of the best features of the sub games has been listening to period music. The addition of Saigon/French music adds to the immersion factor greatly.

I have my own command.cfg set up so i would just like to know what i need to enable to get it working. Searching the forums these days is kinda hopeless due to the slowdown.

Thanks for this

The radio can be accessed in the new modded UI right next to the gramophone icon and it works

yea this mod is only good for manual control ie using the radio .

running this uncontrolled would be useless imo. silent boat and the radio was playing.. oh no.

thanks a ton for this.

Das Boot soundtrack on the gramophone, combined with this great radio mod, the boys will be all set.
