Default The thing that bugs me most about vanilla is the rusty sub.

I just can't look at it. I like having a shiny brand new one. Anyone else this way? GWX spoiled me, sorry.

It's not only you. Whoever of the devs came up with the brilliant idea of letting a sub set sail all rusty probably thinks "ships" are something the British are having with their fish.

Having their ships in, as they say, ship shape and well painted up was essential to avoid rust, something you really don't want on any ship, especially a submarine.

What the sub looked like when it came back in another story entirely.

This is an interesting thread. I've played this game for quite some time and never thought about the rust! I always took it as a well "lived" in feeling! The boat sees good use.
