i downloaded the files from where you said i run them over a clean sh3 with 1.4 patch. Everything did well except that despite i engaged macgui3 mod via jshme i can't see resolts... After running the choosen senario macgui is not enable and instead of having a "u boat ..." i have a "not so long ago..."

Chief i am afraid that ff page stops me when i hit the download button as i wrote in a previews post.

The file comeing down from Jimbuna's Filefront is missing the .exe extension.

Right click it and rename to GWX3.exe
So you should have 7 BIN files and one un-named extension file.
The un-named extension is the exe file.

Default solved

I solved the problem with the EXE file did not start up. i got that file from an another player on email, and put it together with the other 7 files and then it worked.

The tech team at FF are on it now....as well as 73 other corrupted files on my account

Luckily only the need to add .exe to the GWX3.0 files is necessary atm.

Hey guys! I was thinking of using SH3 Commander and Merchant Fleet Mod with the GWX3. Installed properly they will work togheter? What other mods do you suggest for use with GWX3?

Default Sea Sounds when in Free View?

I'm running a variety of mods using GWX 3.0 and I'm extremely happy with the game! I notice when I'm at sea and submerged and press F12 for free view there is no sound on the surface, no crashing of the waves or anything but when I approach ships I can hear their engines and related sounds so the mechanism is fine.

I think the standard SH3 hides this silence with music but this is disabled with GWX.

Is there a change I can make to introduce sea sounds?

can someone please tell me who in the GWX team worked on the sensors and the crew efficiency? I have some questions about these aspects and would like to ask some technical questions. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am thinking of downloading GWX again but I am not sure as to where a working link is, as I recall some were corrupt. If someone feels like posting up a working link, that would be appreciated.

The only "for sure" uncorrupted files at the moment AFAIK are at Jimbuna's FileFront page here:

You'll need all seven of the GWX3 bin files plus the GWX3.exe file. Be aware that there have been problems with downloading from FF lately but I think they were getting sorted out... might want to PM Jimbuna to make sure before starting to redownload. He also has some other options like a torrent or single file download if you're interested in that.
