New IJN snorkel model
It is using Sledgehammer427's camo pattern that I modified to follow the IJN colors, midget subs were sometimes camouflaged like this, so is the I-53 it seems.
Still needs ok from Sledgehammer427 before release. Keltos Last edited by keltos01; 11-06-08 at 05:17 AM. |

yeah sure, I got carried away, used to build model tanks and planes you know... which doesn't tell me if this IJN thing could be raised or not and if so how much ? Last edited by keltos01; 11-07-08 at 02:08 AM. |

yes, i am sure it could be raised, tin that position, it wouldnt do much good...
snorkels are designed to keep the boat safe in the depths, while allowing the desiels to recharge the batteries and keep the crew breathing... therefore, i would say a 4m rise should be good...a good test start

We did a few things I think you will like and tried some others that just didn't work. It coming slower than expected, but this is the first time we have tried anything like this. Soon I hope, but we don't want to release it full of mistakes either. But I have to hurry up and get the Campaign finished, Keltos keeps making more subs to put into it.:rotfl: Peabody

Version 3.0
is nearly there thanks, again, to Peabody's hard work at fixing what I couldn't...
We need to get rid of the dummy snorkel, the real Type 22 AM "stick" radar is on !, and the new snorkel is there too, even though it's front to back ! (look at the RL pictures here above). Type AM : AM port side, btw look at the captured deckgun ! submerging : snorkel depth : Jyunsen B : The Jyunsen B now has its own radar, the Type 22 "drum" radar equipped. sea trials : to snorkel depth : At snorkel depth : and Yes I thik it looks cool grey as it is ! the snorkel off course, read today that it was a dutch invention ! the bow, the wake, everything is off to the side...i would put it at about 1-2 meters to the....left....i think.
