^ i always wonder why you are wondering about this.
I mean after all England is the inventor of capitalism, and it is still a class society, much more than most other western countries. House of lords?
Bankers and such get much more money, than those PMs.
You really expect equality, same chances and deserved loans?

At least the more money those politicians get, the less likely they are to get bribed by big business

House of Lords is probably the best example I could have thought of also and given the fact they aren't even elected but rather 'chosen' makes them even more resented than those fools who sit next door in Parliament.

Sinn Féin shared a meeting of minds at talks with the EU's chief negotiator on Monday, the party said.

Party President Mary Lou McDonald made the comments after she and her party colleagues met Michel Barnier in Brussels.

It follows comments from Prime Minister Theresa May that she did not want to see a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Ms McDonald said the issue was now "in Mrs May's court".

Hopefully Sinn Féin are as supportive in private as they currently appear to be in public.

Donald Tusk has insisted the EU "does not want to build a wall", but Brexit means "we will be drifting apart".

The EU Council president said Theresa May wanted to "demonstrate at any price that Brexit could be a success", but that was not the EU's objective.

He was unveiling draft guidelines for the EU side for negotiations on post-Brexit relations with the UK.

Mr Tusk said he wanted continued security and research cooperation and to ensure flights were not grounded.

On trade, he said that the UK's decision to rule out membership of the single market or the customs union meant a free trade agreement was the best option - but it would be, he said, the first such agreement that would "loosen, not strengthen economic ties".

First bit of common sense from this guy in a while.

I think we'll eventually end up with a mutual free trade agreement.

The big question for me being....will we be handing over somewhere in the region of £40 billion for such an agreement?

It will be a bloody massive mess, trust me it will. Today's Politicians are a bunch of power mad money grabbing grubby B'stards who want their cake and eat it. Not forgetting stealing your cakes out of your cake tin as well, greed power and corruption is the most powerful drug and they are hooked on it.

The PM said the government concluded it was "highly likely" Russia was responsible for the Salisbury attack in Parliament today and all Corbyn could do was respond with a verbal attack on wealthy Russians supposedly contributing to the Tory election campaign.

The PM told the house that current existing rules regarding financial support are strictly adhered to which resulted in condemnation from ALL parties deriding Corbyn and rightly so.
