That will be included, but that information is already available from the GWX website.

Wow! Great news! It will be perhaps the best Christmas present for me.

I prefer to look upon it as a Christmas gift.....from members of the community for members of the community.

Can I make a constructive suggestion here? Would it be possible to make GWX' radio messages an optional mod (like the the Lite Harbour Mod for example) that could be enabled by JSGME at the user's discretion? I'm asking this because, like a lot of people, I don't have all that much time to play & while I really appreciate the immersion factor that the messages provide, sometimes I'm just inundated by message after message: sometimes I get 4-5 messages in a 2-3 (real time) period and it gets a bit frustrating slowing to 1x TC every time that a message comes in.

Thanks for listening & like I said before, no criticism is meant.

The GWX crew strive for realism and the constant receipt of radio messages is a realistic factor of the U-boat war.

There are a couple of Radio Message Lite mods out there that either cut down the number of messages that you receive or pare them down to the bare minimum. They are easy to install via JSGME and should give you what you are asking for.
One is by emaluzer and reduces the total number of messages to 75. It's at: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=133074
One of them is at the thread on my signature block.

I am aware that the constant receipt of radio messages was a factor of the U-boat war. What I was asking was that my idea be taken into consideration. Whether the GWX team implements it or not is their decision.

Being aware of what GWX3.0 is going to include I think it best to say that there are no plans to remove the number of radio messages.

I take on board and understand your situation, but the best I can suggest is that you either delete/remove the radio messages physically or try one of the mods suggested by WB....they are really very good

Something like...

september 1939 - From BDU - War started, go and do your best!
may 1945 - From BDU - War ended... that sucks!

You can use SH3 Commander to alter the time compression settings. Simply set the one for "Radio Message Recieved" to whatever value you like, up to 4096.

Got to love Jaesen for making life so much easier with SH3!

That last message can have a variety of meanings....dependant on which country it is used in.

My big dream is to have Merchant Fleet Mod released as a part of GWX Gold. That would be fantastic.

Sounds like something Boss Hogg would say, in the German dub, after his "blackmail & brothel" scheme got busted by Bo and Luke. :p

I got the following idea from the tips and tricks thread. I found it quite useful to set a key (in my case Num*) to increase time compression, but repeat as it does it. This means that a quick press (or holding it down) will set you back to high or max compression very quickly. Quite handy to speed things along.
