That's pretty neat to hear about Pauley. How many actors end up in a long term role that they studied about in college or university. I'm sure it happens but must be rare.

Sergeant Frank Drebin
From the orginal TV Show which for me was more funny than the films that tried to hard.

I loved both the movies and the show. I agree with you the show was better. Maybe because it was short and they didn't have to put so many gags in it.

All time favourite: M*A*S*H

The serious backdrop, the satire, how they blend comedy with something serious and grim, probably the only sit-com I ever saw that makes one think.


Another favourite: The Prisoner.

James Bond on acid. It has that surrealism that totally won me over.


Then of course the first 2 Black Adder series. Monty Python's Flying Circus too although that's less of a series and more of a sketch show.
