Ladies & Gents.

It seems that I have exceeded my 25 GB limit on my photobucket account.

My allowance resets itself on the 11th Nov, so the images will return then.

If you have HOTLINKED these images, stop it!

That's all. Carry on.

Looking forward to this mod VERY MUCH!!! One of the main reasons I've played SH3 less is because the aircraft were--well--almost nonexistant in 41-42. Since planes were the u-boat's main nemisis, I look forward to see more. Hopefully over Biscay in 41 and especially 42 on.

Excellent prospects for drowning !

Don't forget, historically, things didn't get really tough until 43

To jimbuna: I agree. None-the-less u-boats were reporting more attacks by aircraft as '42 rolled along. The writing--while being a small font--was on the wall by the end of '42. And centimeter radar was being deployed on a wider scale as well.

Cheers!!!

Correct almost 50% of Uboats were sunk from the air.

You know what, Im just happy that we now have -pretty much- all the aircraft types that were ever historically credited for a Uboat sinking.
In fact i think the only one we are missing is the B-18 Bolo, that sunk 2 boats i think.
The British Aircraft Roster in 1.04 is now 17 aircraft types strong (and thats excluding clones) thats almost double the TOTAL number of aircraft types in SHIV!

After a short time playing with 1.3 I have to say that this mod is going to be brilliant.

I was amazed by the huge difference in feel that one gets just by installing a mod, it changes almost everything about the game and makes you play smarter...that is always a good thing.

Keep up the good work...hopefully it will be released before I leave the country so I will have some quality time before the big move.

Mike

All I can say is that we are working our tails off. Just minutes before I took a break to visit Subsim here... an important milestone was passed.

(UFFF!!! I'm exhausted. )

I know better than to discuss release dates, as it seems we've hit and had to overcome every snag that one can dream up... but its coming.

Its coming.

Needdless to say that we would like to see the successful passed stuff by screenshot ??????
:rotfl:

@everybody except the GWX Team: can someone ask when it will be .......

@K.L. & Team: maybe make it an announcement whenever you visit a special place of submarine interest. I'm pretty sure: you stand there for 5 minutes with your printed signature and you DO NOT WORRY about the entrance fee or your drink!!

Now I have a question to ask, but its not about the release date. Its about the weather in GWX. If I remeber correctly there was someone saying something about snow in winter time? I'd like to see aleast one pic of that before the release of 1.04. Speaking of weather why is it that there is always good weather on leaving a port and sometimes good weather when entering one? I'll give an example: One night in '42 I made a off in Vigo to get refuelled, the weather that night was heavy rain and fog. But the next day it was sunny, calm seas, and even a few dolphins swiming around in the harbor!! There is no way such weather can clear up that fast and go from fog and rain to suuny and clear in one night. Is this fixed in GWX 1.04?
