The Monuments Men

It didn't blow me away or anything. They made it look better than it actually was. I'd give it a good 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

Really wasn't a bad movie. I'd say rent it but don't buy it.

I thought the final couple of minutes were accurate (as far as my understanding has it anyway).

I would have to agree with you, although I wasn't there so I don't know for sure.

I liked the remake better, the actress playing the girl was much better.

Saw Gravity yesterday, pretty good. Be warned though, if you have even the basic understanding of zero-g stuff, there are few scenes that will make you want to stop watching (the sacrifice scene was really really really stupid).

Non-Stop

This movie gets complicated fast. It's really really good though. I recommend it even though it may not be completely realistic toward the end.

Agree, great popcorn movie. Although if it would not be with Liam Neeson but some random actor, I would have rated this movie worse to be honest.
Liam just has a bonus and I like every single of his movies... darn what a fanboi

Yeah The Monuments Men was ok, I made the mistake of reading the book first and then watched the movie but all in all it's like you said, rent it don't buy it.

The other night I watched Red Tails about the Tuskegee Airmen and there where so many parts of that movie that had me saying "NO, WRONG, THAT DOENS'T WORK THAT WAY", in particular the head on pass between a P-51D and a Me-262 near the end of the movie, along with the way the movie made B-17s appear far weaker then they really are. I'd give it 4.5 out of 10 as there was some effort that was put into it but just not enough and some of the music wasn't really great.

Liam Neeson is easily my favorite actor. The guy is awesome.

That one was probably just made to inspire people to do research on the actual Tuskegee Airmen and feel good about themselves for knowing a movie got it wrong.

Saw Don Jon and Ondine yesterday. Quite good movies.
J. Gordon-Levitt did a great movie, in writing and directing.

Ondine is a nice modern fairy tale in Ireland.
Today is going to be Phantom and Trance!

Let me know how Phantom is. I've been wanting to see that for a long time now.

Trance is a great movie, I liked a lot. It's a Danny Boyle movie and even if it is only 97m, it's good.

Phantom is a normal sub movie, with the normal inconsistencies. I wonder if they used the set of K-19 for filming.
And there is other stuff I would like to talk, but do not want to give spoilers, etc.
I liked, but normally a do like sub movies (besides when they are completely bad or stupid, like the U-etc).
