Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

A recent article in the PC Gamer brought me onto this. Did anybody here tried the Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator yet?

While not the greatest of all graphics, the concept is certainly thrilling.

Artemis is a multiplayer, multi-computer networked game for Windows computers.
Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the "main screen", while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control.
Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room ("bridge") , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesn't have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.
Artemis is a software game for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Loved the idea, although at the time I learned about it only had LAN support, kinda slipped to the back of my mind because of that.

Would love to give it a shot sometime.

Ahh. I did not see that, sorry.

Hwever, I think I will try the demo next time I am in class. I guess can find a couple of groups of two or three nerdy students who are willing to give it a shot.

It does basically look like a program for running a Star Trek version of D&D...
