We can all speculate forever, and draw lines in the sand to defend our castles, but I doubt we will never know.

Don't get too much involved in conspiracy theories.
Peter told them she was dead and that he dumped her in water in the first interrogation the day after he was arrested. The public was not told about this until much later, which makes it seem like he changed he story when they couldnt find her.

You state this like its very special. What was built is not exotic by any means and shared with authorities and educational institutions etc. The tech is rather simple...
The purpose of building the sub and the rockets was to show that you don't need special connections or to be a big government organization to do this.

That is part of what is bothering me about this story.

"Look guys! You don't need to be big gov for operating a U-Boat and a Space Program!"
- Ends up with chopped up people aboard.

Will surely put a damper on the efforts of the next guy thinking of something like that. Also, that's quite a stated purpose, I must say, when you are surrounded by governments - including the Danish - that pretty much consider you to be armed for owning a kitchen knife. Even if everything else is "right" with this story, you can be sure that the intelligence of this country wasn't just unfazed by such undertakings (and neither would they be in the US, for that matter). Oh, and him being obviously a smart guy, would probably be fully aware of that, which makes murdering a journalist on his boat all the more "surprising".

Rape is also what I first thought of, but wouldn't they come out right away and state such a suspicion rather quickly if that is what happened? Most anyone could probably believe that, but the fact that they didn't, seems to indicate that this isn't what happened here. Also, while it would be easy to imagine at first glance, OTOH it would still seem very strange for such a thing to have played out when the guy could probably get p**** just like that, what with his private sub and stuff, without having to resort to raping and chopping up journalists on the boat of his dreams. I realize people are not always acting rational, but that would still be quite a jump to make for someone who is that positively involved in creative work and with other people.

"Ends up with chopped up people aboard."

Is that established yet?

EDIT: I don't think that can be proven in any case. On board by DNA is likely, but it is already known she was on board alive so it has to be proven she met her demise on board.

Yeah, I know, it could always be better, couldn't it. But you must know there are different layers of priority and not everyone might have to make do with what you got.

I stand corrected. I bet this gets more news coverage in Denmark than Finland...

Why does it bother you? The sub&rockets efforts are not linked to the killing at all. The projects were done to build but also to inspire people. The technical university in Denmark has seen greater student count and interest derived from what these projects has shown.

BTW, If you really mean what you say, then you are also accusing all the people who worked on these projects...

It did. They live transmitted the hearing when they lifted the "closed door" policy on the investigation.
It also turned out that Peter and his lawyer had asked for this to be a public hearing from the very beginning, but the judge ruled against it - causing a great deal of speculation in the following 1,5 weeks.

Probably the lawyer thinks he can beat the rap if he gets public air time and try to portray PM as bat sheet crazy insane. I say keep the doors closed, convict the s.o.b. and send him into prison general population and let them give him what he deserves.

Videos and links to videos have been found on the computer found in the lab of PM. The videos contain fetish, violence, torture and murder of women. It appears the videos have been produced in a foreign country.
PM explains that other people, including a trainee, have had access to his lab.
A law professor from the University of Copenhagen agrees that it doesn't prove that he owns the videos, but those videos and other evidence still indicate that PM has a legal problem.
It was also revealed today that the torso had one stab wound in the chest and several stab wounds near the vagina. The articles from today doesn't say anything about PM's reaction to that. At least, I haven't seen any yet.
