Fleet carrier sunk with one torpedo?!
Well, I just sank a Hiyo fleet carrier with one torp. I'm using TMO 2.5, RSRDC, and Traveller mod 2.04. Would this have even been historically possible?

Fleet carriers are fragile, issue with the in game Zones. In RL, they were fragile, but it generally took 2-3 torps minimum to sink one.
Regarding mods, RFB only uses stock figures for major warships, including fleet carriers. Their NYGM mod only covers merchants and DDs, as I recall. TMO uses stock figures, but increases sinking times by 2.5.

Thanks Bilge Rat.
Another important question. Has anyone ever sunk a carrier with one torp playing only with TMO 2.5 (no other mods)? |

I did a lot of tests with TMO 2.5 when I was working on my LST mod. You can sink a Fleet carrier with one torp IF you hit the right spot, midship if I recall, but it generally takes two.
