Default Matt Thor's Early Submarine Project

Here's some great news for anyone interested in early submarines: Matt Thor recently announced that he plans to get back into sub modeling in a major way with a 1/32 scale line of early Russian, German & American submarines. All will be FRP construction & designed for RC use.

He's finishing a WW2 Russian Pike class & just started mold work on a German UB-1. Development is underway on a Russian M class coastal sub followed by an early American S-boat & then a series of WWI German u-boats. He's currently seeking reference information, photos & plans on the early German u-boats & would appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge on the subject.

Matt has his own section over at SubPirates that covers these projects as well as a Q&A forum for anyone interested in learning more from this very experienced modeler.
