As for it's location, it is scripted into the game in numerous dates and places.

You might try Trondheim in early 44ish

Haven't seen a BB or Carrier in 3 careers, let alone sunk one. But in the last 3 patrols I get a 1 BB a Carrier and a Cruiser.

Think I'll just retire now, can only get worse.
