I see my join date is 2006 and I never got around to posting
 I've had SH5 for a while, never really enjoyed it, then I downloaded the DarkWraith's mod the other day and I have been enjoying it immensely. Thanks for having such a great resource!

Hello!
I guess I best post. I have Silent hunter 3,4 and 5 but I started out on the gold old silent hunter 2! I'm a big fan of both U-boats and Subs over all! I adore these games and subsim over all!
Though I must admit... I'm not enjoying this new download limit at all... |

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I've played Silent Hunter 2, 3, 4 and 5. I'm 35 years old, married with three daughters, unfortunately it is unlikely any will become submarine captains.
It's the atmosphere of the Silent Hunter games that I love, you can really believe you're the captain of a 44 man submarine, operating almost completely independent of any higher authority. Love the modding community, they make me realise like there are others just like me who care whether that tiny little flag is historically accurate! Nick |
