Default Computer hardware information site?

anybody have a very useful sort of (computer hardware for dummies) website i could visit?

Something where i can learn What the heck PCI, Buses, Memory, RAM ect. means exactly and how it pertains to computer running? not something that necessarily teaches EVERYTHING about it, rather a better general overview?

im sick of being so ignorant to hardware, and while i understand the very basics (basic info on graphics, RAM, ect.) if your to buy hardware for you computer ill have to know If "this Graphics card is compatible and can estimate its ability in performace"

Any help would be VERY appreciated.

As far as what the terms mean and how they affect your computer, the easiest thing is to google them or look on Wikipedia. The basics are all readily available, and in easily understood terms.

No specific computer site I just use Google. Got a problem just type the problem in Google some fix is sure to show up. Other than that I do find Tomshardware forums helpful at times.

Google is good for the home repairs cowboy as well.

Last week our toilet broke down, well the water wouldn't stop filling up where the ball thingy is, I wasn't going to call a plummer for a job I thought would take no more than 15min to fix, problem is I had no idea how to fix it so I typed up the problem in Google, and on first page found a youtube video on how to fix the problem. I fix it. Thanks Google.
