I agree that SH4 needs to be patched. In it's current state it is only 60% playable. UBI, don't screw up this game like you have so many others because you got lazy and decided not to continue providing patches.

I agree the game in it's present form even with Patch V1.2 is still unfinished and requires further remedial work to attain a standard worth calling release.

Mysterious critical failures & sinking of sub when damage indicator shows sub fully intact.

Mysterious critical damage & loss of sub when resting on sea floor in shallow water ????

Inadequate damage control screen.

Early career terminations.

Repetitive missions.

Mysterious lost sub messages & demotions to lower grade sub when returning to base. If you managed to return to base how can you have lost your boat ?

Crazy numbers of air attacks in some map locations.

Air attacks in mid ocean by land based planes well out of the range of airbases.

Repetitive convoy composition.

Insufficient variety of mechant vessels.

Developers. Please work on patch V1.3 to sort out these issues.

When ShIV was announced and all were making their request I made a simple one.
Just make it work right without needing a patch.

Obviously that did not happen.

What else that did not happen is I did not purchase the game.

So when will I buy this?
When it has been fixed!

Verstanden?

Why ask in German?

Because I will still be playing SH3-GWX until you fix it and if I have to wait for the community to fix it I will likely get it for 5 bucks used and you will not profit!

There are many like myself that insist on buying this when it is right or not at all.

It is up to you if you want our money.

Hear that?---------------------- No?; of course not.
It was the Ka-ching sound of money not going into your account in spite of the fact I want to give you that money.

Default This is nuts:

Well, another reason we need another patch might be to clear up something that happened to me on patrol #6 near Rabul. It just STUNNED ME! I see a US task Force and join it...there were several US destroyers, light cruisers, cruisers, heavy cruisers, and what looked like N. Carolina class BB's. No Carriers. So a Japaneese air raid ensues...my sub is the only one shooting at incoming air craft. WTF is that all about? I end up getting sunk by several aircraft with only ME firing at them! I know for a fact that in SH III friendly ships fired back at incoming enemy aircraft. I just cannot figure this one out. There are just too many aspects of this sim that make it almost un-playable. Way too many crashes etc. I could go on here forever by needless to say...something needs to be done by devs or the SS community! Help! THis is NUTS!

I agree that more patching is needed for Silent Hunter 4.

I bought the Silent Hunter 4 Collector's Edition, but at Silent Hunter 4's current state I prefer to play Silent Hunter 3.
I try to play Silent Hunter 4 from time to time, but it always starts to annoy so much to see how much there is potential and to see it's wasted because of things not working correctly.

If there's no more patches for Silent Hunter 4 that corrects things, I will definately feel ripped off

I concurr ... there are things that need to be examined at least one more time by the producers and programmers of this sim.

Please, 1.3 isn't too much to ask now is it?

Thanks.

I currently am not playing SH: Wolves of the Pacific. While the game looks fantastic, and has incredible potential, it just isn't quite there yet. I am confident that the Dev Team will fix the problems; after all, they patched SH3 all the way up to 1.4b.
My brother is an ardent fan of the Silent Hunter series. He actually was the one who got me interested in it. I have advised him to hold off on buying the game until it has been fixed. I told him it looks incredible, but until it has been adequately patched, it will just serve to frustrate.
