If that is true PM May is telling lies?

  • Claims Brussels has rejected a key proposal aimed at breaking the impasse
  • Speculation PM could be facing more resignations
So who is next to walk out the door?

What is that new secret plan other than just a second soft Brexit plan...? One that Brussel still can and probably will torpedo, since it wants the UK to negotiate new trade relations with the EU while still being subordinated to the EU's regime - something the EU always has denied to allow?

You can't stand on both sides of the door at the same time. Some people finally have to understand this.

The Parliamentary vote is just about lost now.

Labour frontbencher Emily Thornberry has told the BBC "all options remain on the table", including a new referendum, if MPs vote down a Brexit deal.

She was asked about party leader Jeremy Corbyn's comment to a German newspaper that Brexit cannot be stopped.

Labour would prefer a general election, she said, but could campaign for "a People's Vote" if it were not possible.

Tory cabinet minister Damian Hinds said MPs must "consider the alternatives" if they vote down the deal.

And here we go, right on cue.

Check out 17:12 onward and think back to Michael Foot and his infamous 'Donkey Jacket' at the Cenotaph in 1981

Negotiations over the UK's departure from the EU are "now in the endgame", Theresa May says.

Addressing the Lord Mayor's Banquet in the City of London, the prime minister said the talks were "immensely difficult", but the sides were working "through the night" to make progress.
"This will not be an agreement at any cost," the PM added.
She is under pressure from both sides of the EU debate as she tries to seal a deal in time for Brexit in March.
Both sides want to schedule a special summit of EU leaders at the end of November to sign off the withdrawal deal, but time is running out.

Listening to the radio today and the general public is fast loosing faith in our politicians and the EU's over this brexit mess. I lost faith years ago in this shame lot.

60,000 sign Sky News petition to make TV election debates happen

Not moving very fast, I have seen petitions reaching that mark in day weeks and a couple of months but this one is so slow. This tells me people are not that interested and the whole thing will probably be rejected by the petition committee.

I am against it, leaders debates are a total wast of time and money.

I wasn't aware the public ever had all that much faith in them to begin with.
