HMS Hood's bell has been recovered!
Hi guys, I just wanted to share this bit of info with you all. Not sure if this was posted already if it has, then I apologize.

Interesting. I wasn't aware that the Hood carried the same bell as the 1891 pre-dreadnought Hood. Quite a bit of history in that piece of metal.

Fantastic. I'm glad they recovered it. Hopefully they will find or have a place to put it like a Naval museum that will pay tribute to the men aboard who were lost in the battle with Bismarck
